Kuri forma reikalauja daugiau administravimo?
MB.
Neprivaloma. Individualią veiklą galima palikti registruotą ir vykdyti abi lygiagrečiai, jei to reikia veiklos pobūdžiui.

English
Sole activity or MB - which one costs less?
Enter the revenue and costs you expect. fyn compares sole activity against a small partnership and shows which one leaves more after tax.
How sole activity and an MB differ
Both suit a single person, but money leaves them in different ways - and that is what decides the tax.
How income is taxed
Sole activity taxes the whole profit: income tax with the credit, plus social and health insurance on 90 % of it. An MB member chooses how much to draw for personal needs and how much to leave in the company.
Where the MB starts to win
While the income tax credit is at full value sole activity is usually cheaper. Past the 20 000-42 500 € stretch where the credit tapers away, MB dividends at 15 % with no social insurance begin to pay off.
Paperwork and liability
Sole activity is registered in minutes and files no separate accounts. An MB is a legal entity with limited liability, but it must keep books and file financial statements.
Sole activity or MB - common questions
At what income does an MB beat sole activity?
There is no single threshold - it depends on your costs and on how much you need to take out. The calculator runs both forms on the same revenue, so you can find your own line by raising the figure.
Can I have both sole activity and an MB?
Yes, that is allowed. Social insurance is then charged on both sources, and the annual cap of 43 average wages applies across them.
Which form takes more administration?
The MB. It must keep books, prepare financial statements and file them with the registry. Sole activity needs only an income and expense journal and an annual return.
Do I have to close sole activity to open an MB?
No. Sole activity can stay registered and run alongside the MB if the work calls for it.
